Payment Methods

Rodavia connects you with local rental companies across Albania. When you book, you secure the reservation with an advance payment online. The balance and any extras are settled directly with the partner at their desk, following the terms written in your voucher.

Booking Advance Online

You pay part of the total when confirming the reservation. We accept international credit cards - Visa and Mastercard go through without issues. The transaction is processed in euros; your bank handles the conversion if you hold a different currency.

Balance at Pick-Up

The remaining amount is due when you collect the keys. Each partner sets their own payment policy: some accept debit cards and cash, others work with credit cards only. Your voucher lists exactly what the company will take at the counter.

Deposits are held separately - usually a pre-authorization on a credit card in the driver's name. The voucher states the sum and release timeline. If the partner accepts cash for the balance, they might still require a card for the hold.

What the Voucher Tells You

After booking you receive a confirmation document. It shows:

• Which payment methods the partner accepts on-site.
• Whether debit cards work for the balance or deposit hold.
• If cash is an option for settling extras.
• Cardholder requirements - some desks need the card in the main driver's name.
